Founded in 1998 by Lois Bullock, Energized for STEM Academy has been serving Houston's brightest and best students. Located in the heart of Houston, Energized strives to provide top quality education, an inviting and nurturing environment for learning, and the technology help students be successful.

Energized for STEM welcomes students from 6th to 12th Grade. Since early on, Energized has been one of HISD's premier institutions. The school has become the largest family of charter programs that are currently affiliated with HISD with many campuses serving a wide variety of students of all backgrounds.
